Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu recently shared her openness to dating a younger man, often referred to as a “Ben 10,” emphasizing that age is not the defining factor in a relationship.
In a video circulating on social media, Nyamu explained her views, stating that the term “Ben 10” is more about dependency than age itself.
“A ‘Ben 10’ is all about dependency,” Nyamu said.
“It’s about a man depending on you. He needs to be younger, of course, but you can have a younger man who is hardworking.”
Nyamu also took the opportunity to clarify a misconception surrounding her relationship.
She firmly stated that the father of her children should not be mistaken for a “Ben 10.”
“I have an issue with people mistaking the father of my kids for a ‘Ben 10.’ He is not,” she declared.
Nyamu is a mother of three and has shared her thoughts on what she believes women truly want in a relationship.
She recently mentioned that “real girls don’t want anything but food, time, and attention,”
A sentiment that reflects her down-to-earth approach to relationships and life.
In recent months, Nyamu has been relatively quiet about her relationship with popular singer Samidoh, a departure from the past when their relationship often made headlines.
Meanwhile, Samidoh has been spending time in the United States, where he recently reunited with his wife, Edday Nderitu, and their children.
Edday took to Instagram to express her appreciation for Samidoh, acknowledging his dedication to their family.
She praised his efforts to provide for them and expressed gratitude for his unwavering support.
“Thank you for being a loving father to our family. Your unwavering support, guidance, and unconditional love mean everything to us,” Edday wrote.
“You work tirelessly to give us a comfortable life, and your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.”
She added, “We’re grateful for the sacrifices you make and the time we get to spend together as a family.
Today and every day, we celebrate your kindness, patience, and devotion. We love you more than words can express.”
