Shabana FC collected over KSh1 million from ticket sales in their march against KCB

Kisii-based Shabana FC collected a record KSh1,015,000 from ticket sales when they beat Kenya Premier League leaders KCB FC on Sunday, December 15 afternoon.

Announcing the feat on its social media pages, Shabana FC thanked all the fans who made it possible by attending the match at the Gusii Stadium.

The match, which propelled Shabana FC to fifth in the FKF-PL standings with 20 points, four behind leaders KCB FC.

Ticket prices were set at KSh500 for VIP and KSh200 for regular.

Shabana took the lead in the 29th minute through Brian Michira after he netted a rebound from a blocked Mathew Tegisi attempt.

17 year old Austine Odongo who came in off from the bench replacing Samuel Maiko and scored his first Shabana FC goal when he capitalised on KCB’s defensive lapse in the 91st minute handing Shabana FC their fifth win of the season.
