Digital creator and journalist Shiksha Arora has announced her upcoming debut on TV 47 with a packed show set to premiere on her debut.
Shiksha Arora has been a growing name at the national broadcaster KBC, where she served as a news anchor for the last three years.
Ms Arora has expressed her deep emotions about leaving her colleagues, who she described as family.

“My heart is overflowing with emotions as I type this. It’s hard to say goodbye to a workplace that I called home for 3 years & colleagues who have become like family.”
She went ahead to thank her support system “Thank you to everyone who joined me on this incredible journey on #EasyFriday on KBC for the past 3 years,” she shared.

Who will Shiksha team up with at TV47?
Ms. Arora is set to premiere a new show on TV47 which will be hotels during prime time hours.
According to management, the show is set to change the dynamics of audience-centered programming centered around an interactive space.
Additionally, management has set to unveil a collaborative team effort with the already existing big names at TV47 to dominate weekday and weekend programming.

Shiksha’s run at KBC
Ms. Arora reminisced about her experiences at KBC, including covering elections and engaging with prominent figures in Kenya’s entertainment scene.
“We’ve laughed, danced, cried, and grew together on @kbc_television. This isn’t just the end of a show; it’s just the beginning of a new chapter which I am very excited for.”

Shiksha joined KBC in June 2021 during the station’s relaunch in a bid to revitalize news coverage and cater to the growing diverse audience.
The relaunch saw Shiksha share a stage with now TV47’s breakfast host Fred Indimuli, and legend journalist the late Catherine Kasavuli.
Other seasoned journalists Shiksha shared the stage with were the legendary Fayyaz Qureishi and the late Badi Muhsin.
