Shocking scenes: Chelsea flop does a ‘spinning high kick’ on fan, Nigerian punches pitch invader to ground

Shocking scenes were witnessed at the end of the Turkish Süper Lig match between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe on Sunday, March 17.

Former Manchester United player, Fred, had scored two goals in the first half at the Papara Park, with former Chelsea star Michy Batshuayi netting an 87th-minute goal to secure victory for the visitors.

This last-minute winner sparked wild celebrations among Fenerbahçe players at the full-time whistle. They gathered at the centre circle of the field for a jubilant group huddle.

One home fan ran onto the field to confront Batshuayi and his teammates. Security officers chased him down, but this is where all hell broke loose.

Hundreds of fans would then invade the pitch and charge at Fenerbahce players. In one of the videos from the chaotic scenes, Batshuayi is seen unleashing a vicious spinning high kick at one of the fans who was charging at him.

Former QPR and Blackpool player Bright Osayi-Samuel took one of the invaders head-on, throwing him to the ground, punching him in self defence.

At the stands, Fenerbahçe board members were not left behind as they were seen hurling cups at the home fans.
