Sarah Kabu, the Managing Director of Bonfire Adventures, and her estranged husband, Simon Kabu, are in the spotlight again.

A leaked CCTV video showing Sarah in a heated exchange with a young woman at her former home has sparked conversations.

The mother of two known for her poise and determination, is now demanding clarity, calling on the unidentified woman to explain her presence in her former home.

“I want her to come out and explain who she is or how she got there. Or Simon should explain who the lady was in that house,” she said.

While Sarah has spoken openly about her struggles, Simon has remained silent.

The Rise of Bonfire Adventures

The Kabus’ journey began with a spark of inspiration.

Their second gig—a bank’s team-building event—required them to formalize their dream.

They registered their company after receiving a cheque, marking the official birth of Bonfire Adventures in 2007.

The agency has frown over the years into a household name, a testament to the couple’s hard work and shared vision.

Despite their public spat Simon has assured the Bonfire Adventures clients that business will go on as usual despite his public fall out with his wife.

Trouble in Paradise

Their grass to grace journey has resonated with many people who from the outside looking in view the couple as goals.

Behind the success story, cracks in their personal lives began to show.

Sarah has hinted severally of infidelity but the couple has always managed weather the storm.

This time things are different as the mmother of wo has moved out of her matrimonial home.

Further, she likened it to “Egypt under Pharaoh.”

Sarah claims she founded the business and as the Managing Director she is now fully incharge.

Her husband Simon tells a different narrative. He insists they own it equally.

Dropping the Kabu name

Sarah didn’t just move out of her home, she also changed her moniker on social media.

Not afraid to speak on the matter, she announced she was dropping the surname “Kabu” and would now go by “Sarah Mtalii” online.

“My official name is Sarah Njoki Nyaga. I am reclaiming my identity and my brand,” she declared, embracing her individuality with strength and grace.

Though Sarah has stepped back from her marriage, she remains hopeful about the future.

While she feels unready to re-enter the dating scene, she believes in the sanctity of marriage and is committed to supporting young women navigating its challenges.

“Marriage is not easy, but it is ordained by God. One day, I know I will marry again,” she said.
