At least six Kenyans have been killed in a suspected Al-Shabaab attack at the border town of Dhobley, Somali.
In the incident that occurred on Friday, March 29 morning, suspected Al-Shabaab terrorists reportedly ambushed the Kenyans, spraying them with bullets.
Confirming the incident, Liboi Deputy County Commissioner Ali Manduku said that the Kenyans were from Meru County and were involved in hawking (malimali) business in Dhobley town.
Officials say that its highly likely that the militants targeted the Kenyans specifically because of their religious affiliations.
One trader has been seriously injured.
