Kasarani Member of Parliament (MP) Ronald Karauri is now offering an all-expenses paid trip to Maasai Mara for a pastor who locked himself in a lion’s den.

The ‘daring’ man identified as Pastor Daniel was captured in a viral video getting cozy with three lions while his followers watched in astonishment.

He even went ahead to put his hand inside the mouth of one of the lions lying right in front of him as he laughed.

In a sarcastic reaction to the viral video, Kasarani MP Karauri, who is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of betting company Sportpesa, offered to take the man to Maasai Mara.

“I volunteer to take him to the Maasai Mara please, all expenses paid. We look for the lions and he can go walk with them,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Interestingly, the lions captured in the video appeared to be subdued, a situation highly unlikely at Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Reports indicate that before pulling the stunt, ‘Pastor Daniel’ invited members of his church to witness the event.

Consequently, they can eat up to 40kg of meat to maintain their weight and power as it is a source of pride for the species.

“Their tongues have sharp-pointed rasps, called papillae, which are used to scrape meat off the bones,” WWF adds.
