Kelechi Iheanacho's brace helped Leicester City qualify for the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time in 39 years after defeating Manchester United 3-1 in the quarter finals.

Fred Rodriguez gifted Leicester with the lead after 24 minutes after his back pass fell in the legs of Nigerian international Iheanacho, who rounded off goalkeeper Dean Henderson to give Leicester a 1-0 lead.

United levelled the terms through England teenager Mason Greenwood in the 38 minute. But clinical Leicester snatched the win in the second half through goals from Youri Tielemans and Iheanacho.

It was Leicester's first win against Manchester United since their mouthwatering 5-3 victory at Old Trafford in 2014. Leicester will now face Southampton in the semi finals. Last season, they beat them 9-0 at St Mary's.

Elsewhere, Chelsea booked their slot in the FA Cup semi-finals after crashing Sheffield United 2-0 at Stamford Bridge. Oliver Norwood's 24th minute own goal and Hakim Ziyech's 90th minute strike helped Chelsea seal their slot.

Chelsea will now face Manchester City on April 17, 2021, while Leicester will take on Southampton on the same day.
