Manchester United fan in Uganda dies of depression following humiliating 4 - 1 loss
John Okello said the deceased Manchester United fan in Uganda was a hawker who sold rat and pest poison.

"Ole leaves with our sincerest thanks for his tireless efforts as Manager and our very best wishes for the future. His place in the club’s history will always be secure, not just for his story as a player, but as a great man and a Manager who gave us many great moments," said the club in a statement confirming his sacking.
United are currently number eight on the English Premier League (EPL) table with only 17 points, 12 adrift of leaders Chelsea.

In May 2009, Arsenal fan Suleiman Omondi, 29, hanged himself after his team's 3-1 loss to United in a Champions League match.
In March, 2015, James Macharia, a a die-hard Man- U fan reportedly committed suicide after the team lost to Arsenal in a FA Cup match.
Also in 2015, a Ugandan fan committed suicide after he lost a bet when Arsenal were beaten 3-1 by Monaco in the Champions League.
