Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko has found himself in an age storm following allegations that he may have cheated on his actual age.

According to documents revealed by his adoptive father, the German Internation striker is allegedly said to be 22 years and not the official 18 years.

The document sent to an Austrian Journalist working with Laola1 claims that Moukoko's real name is Yousouffa Mohamadou and was born in 2000 and not 2004.

Moukoko was born in Yaounde, Cameroon before moving to live in Germany in 2014 where he was adopted before kicking off his football career.

The legitimacy of his age comes following revelations that the wonder kid has had several partners older than him prior to joining Dortmund's first team.

The allegations come just one week after 21 players in Cameroon Under 17 football team were found to have cheated on their actual ages ahead of their AFCON match in the Central African Republic.

Cameroon joins DR Congo which was also caught up in the age scandal after MRI tests found 25 out of 40 squad members failed mandatory age testing.
