In a shocking incident at St Andrews School, Turi in Molo, Nakuru County, four dedicated workers found themselves in the midst of a terrifying electrical mishap that left them with severe burn injuries.

The unfortunate incident occurred on Tuesday, turning a routine task into a life-threatening situation.

Four men, aged 50 to 60, moved a tent as part of routine tasks. The day turned harrowing when the tent accidentally touched a power line, causing a sudden, powerful electric shock.

Prompt action ensued as Molo Police Officers, led by OCS Johnson Lemuna, swiftly arrived at the scene alongside their counterparts from Kenya Power.

Their mission: to investigate the incident that had left the four workers battling severe burn injuries. The injured quartet was later located at St Joseph’s Hospital in Molo, where they were receiving medical attention.

A medical report from St Joseph’s Hospital shed light on the extent of the injuries sustained by the four men.

With ages ranging between 50 and 60 years, they exhibited burns on their chests and legs.

The nature of their injuries has sparked inquiries into the safety measures in place during such tasks within the school compound.
