The 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship is set to showcase the world’s top teams, following the Drawing of Lots in Bangkok that placed the 32 qualified nations into eight groups. The highly anticipated tournament will run from August 22 to September 7 across four host cities in Thailand.
Kenya has been slotted in POOL G alongside Poland , Germany and Vietnam.

Tournament Format
The pool stage will take place in Bangkok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Phuket, and Chiang Mai.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout rounds.
From the Round of 16 onward, all matches will be held in Bangkok in a single-elimination format leading to the championship final.
A New Era for Women’s Volleyball
This 2025 edition marks a historic shift for the FIVB Women’s World Championship:
Biennial Format The tournament will now be held every two years instead of every four.
Expanded Field The number of participating teams has increased to 32, ensuring greater global representation.
