Gunshots erupted from two warring communities, abruptly halting the celebration.
The incident unfolded around 5:30 p.m. while the Narok Governor was delivering his speech at the event.
Startled guests were forced to scatter in search of safety.

The gunshots and an alleged raid on a nearby village forced an abrupt end to the festivities.
A video shared online captured guests fleeing to safety as gunshots echoed in the distance.
Fortunately, none of the partygoers were harmed, but there were casualties from the two communities allegedly involved in the conflict.
Unfortunately, the planned after-party, scheduled for later in the evening, had to be canceled due to the unrest.
Aside from this unforeseen incident, the Thanksgiving ceremony, known as “Letoo Day,” was deemed a tremendous success.
The journalist went all out, slaughtering five bulls for the occasion.

Notable figures like Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu, Kisii Governor Simba Arati, and MPs Julius Sunkuli and David Ole Sankok graced the party.
Prominent media personalities, including Stephen Letoo’s bosses at Citizen TV, Linus Kaikai and Jamila Mohamed, also made an appearance.
They were joined by other media figures such as Ben Kirui, Chemutai Goin, Seth Olale, and Melitas ole Tenges, making it a gathering of notable individuals from various sectors.
Despite the unexpected disruption, the “Letoo Day” celebration marked a special occasion for Stephen Letoo, with an impressive turnout of friends, well-wishers, and colleagues.
