American TV host, Steve Harvey has come out to directly confront the running rumours surrounding his wife Marjorie’s alleged involvement with his bodyguard.

Harvey personally cleared the air during his appearance at Invest Fest 2023 in Atlanta.

In front of a captivated audience, Harvey confidently addressed the matter. 

He stated, “Before I dive into things, I want to make it crystal clear – I’m doing well. Marjorie’s doing well too.”

Harvey went on stating “I’m not sure what’s circulating out there, but it’s time to shift focus because we’re both doing great.” 

“Goodness gracious. I have no patience for baseless rumours and idle chatter. The Almighty has been kind, and my light is still shining.” Harvey reiterated.

Initially, the rumours came up earlier in the week on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

Consequently, like all rumours, they swiftly gained traction across the internet. 

The report alleged that Marjorie Elaine Harvey was entangled in an extramarital affair involving her bodyguard.

Furthermore, the report claimed that she had initiated divorce proceedings in the aftermath. It alleged that she was seeking a staggering $200 million as part of the settlement.

However, Marjorie took to Instagram to provide her perspective, posting a snapshot of a book titled ‘How to Handle Being Lied About’.

Consequently, in her accompanying caption, she addressed the issue, denouncing the rumours.

In her words, she termed the rumours as “foolishness and lies.“

“Normally, my husband and I let the nonsensical tales and falsehoods slide by without a response.”

“Nevertheless, when you’ve been blessed with much, an obligation to those who might not possess the same resilience comes with the territory.”

“This is not just about us. I encourage you to read and share this with your loved ones who might be grappling with the same challenge. Blessings to all of you.” She stated.

Steve Harvey’s proactive stance at Invest Fest exemplified his determination to set the record straight.

The rumours about the two splitting are still running their course online. Many speculate that the figures sought after in the alleged divorce claim are still too specific to ignore.
