Super petrol prices reduced by KSh7 in EPRA’s latest review

The price of Super petrol has once again reduced, this time by KSh7.09 in the latest Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) review.

In a notice shared on social media, EPRA announced that the price of Super petrol will now retail at KSh199.15 in Nairobi and its environs.

In Mombasa, Super petrol will sell at KSh195.97, while in Eldoret and Nakuru towns the price now stands at KSh198.98 and KSh198.21 respectively.

The price of diesel also reduced by KSh5.09 per litre. Consumers in Nairobi region will buy a litre of diesel at KSh190.38, while those in Mombasa will pay KSh187.21 per litre of diesel.

In Nakuru, a litre of diesel will now retail at KSh189.82 and KSh190.59 in Eldoret town.

Reduction in fuel prices trickled down to kerosene, where the price per litre reduced by KSh4.49 in the Thursday, March 14 review.

A litre of kerosene will now sell at KSh188.74 and KSh185.58 in Nairobi and Mombasa regions respectively.

In Nakuru, kerosene will be retailing at KSh188.21 per litre and KSh188.98 in Eldoret.

Last month, EPRA announced a KSh1 reduction in the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene for the period between February 15 and March 14, 2024.

Consequently, a litre of Super petrol retailed at KSh 206.36 in Nairobi while Diesel and Kerosene went for KSh195.47 and KSh193.23 respectively.

President William Ruto earlier today (Thursday) hinted at lower fuel prices attributed to reduced debt which has been putting pressure on the dollar.
