Following the theft, detectives launched a manhunt, which led to his capture at a hideout in Nairobi by Lang’ata DCI officers.
He was then transferred to Changamwe and arraigned at the Milimani Law Courts in Mombasa on Tuesday August 20.
At the same time, the DCI warned the public about increasing risk of carjacking and vehicle theft in the country.
