Suspected trafficker arrested along Eastern Bypass with KSh600,000 bhang in a Toyota Premio

A suspect of drug trafficking was on Wednesday, July 3 arrested after he was found in possession of canabis sativa (bhang) worth KSh600,000 in Nairobi.

Solomon Mutuma Mutiiria was arrested along Eastern Bypass by Anti-Narcotics Unit detectives.

The sleuths, acting on intelligence leads, intercepted a Toyota Premio car driven by the suspect who was heading to Kiaruguru area in Ruiru Sub-County.

“Upon search of his vehicle, [the detectives] managed to recover the said narcotics,” the DCI says. “The herb that was concealed in a gunny bag in four bales and a motor vehicle Reg. No. KCR 411F have been detained as exhibits pending arraignment of the malefactor.”
