Tall man challenge: Bungoma man claims to be tallest

A man from Bungoma County has come out to challenge Bradley Marongo alias Gen Z Goliath, declaring himself the tallest Kenyan man.

This was after Gen Z Goliath surprised many Kenyans with his towering height.

The 27-year-old Bradley who was recognized by netizens during the recent anti-government demonstrations, claimed to be 8 ‘2 Ft, making him the tallest man.

In an interview Bradley talked about his journey, growing up and what he has been up to lately.

Bradley says he was born and raised in Majengo, Vihiga County and later found his way to Nairobi with the help of a friend.

“I am a Kamagera (beba beba) working for the western route vehicles,” he said.

Marongo, who’s married to a wife of a normal height, says they met and began their love story in Majengo, in Vihiga.

The two are blessed with two children, both girls.

When asked whether he had been bullied because of his height, Gen Z said, “When I was in school, I was the head boy so no one could dare bully me,” he said.

The father of two further went ahead to say that when most kids see him, they get surprised, some take pictures of him but he takes their phones and deletes them because most people talk bad about him.

Bradley says that getting shoes and clothes, especially trousers has been his main challenge.

“I only have two pairs of sandals and I have never worn any shoes, most of the time I have to customize them. Plus, anytime I go to the market people crowd around me to see where this tall man is coming from,” he said.

However, a man by the name Isaac from Bungoma, has come out claiming to be taller than Bradley.

Isaac, who claims to be 8 ‘4 feet tall, says he would like to meet Bradley face to face so that they can see who’s taller.

‘Bradley is short and I’m tall, I really admire meeting him one on one but I am less on cash,’ he said.

One of the Bungoma residents said he seconds the claims that Isaac is the tallest.
