Tanzanian national falls from 4-storey building in Eastleigh

Police in Eastleigh, Nairobi County are probing the death of Eliyaman Leninan, 34, who tragically fell from a rooftop.

Witness reports indicate that the Tanzanian national landed headfirst on the ground floor near Dubai Hotel in Eastleigh on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased had reportedly gone up to the rooftop of a four-storey building when he accidentally slid while stepping on the iron sheets. He died on the spot due to the injuries suffered from the fall.

Locals alerted police officers who swiftly took action and transferred the body to the mortuary for further examination.

In yet another incident, detectives are probing an occurrence in Huruma, Nairobi, where a woman identified as Jane Mumbi, 34, was found dead under unclear circumstances.

Preliminary investigations revealed the deceased had physical burns on the thighs, legs and face.

The victim’s body was moved to the mortuary for a postmortem.
