Fashion designer Bolo Bespoke and his wife, Mueni, have addressed the swirling rumors surrounding a viral video that mistakenly linked Mueni to a woman dancing with Kenyan rapper Timmy Tdat.
Mueni publicly denied being the woman seen dancing seductively with Tdat in the now viral video video.
The video, which resurfaced after Bolo and Mueni’s high profile traditional wedding, sparked intense speculation among netizens, making many to believe that the woman seen in the clip was her.
But speaking on TV47’s Dr Ofweneke Tonight show, Mueni firmly denied the claims, clarifying that she was not the woman in the video.
”You should go back to that video and zoom it, I have a big ‘Nyash’, Give me credits, that’s not me,” Mueni clarified.
She recalled that the musician used to date her friend, Kush Tracy, and doing something with him was akin to betraying her.
”Timmy used to date my friend, Kush Tracy, kwangu alikuwa shemeji. So how dare I jump on stage on him, that’s not me. It is not me, si mimi,” she insisted.
Adding his voice to the conversation, Bolo Bespoke came to his wife’s defense, ”It is more evident because 2018 my wife was heavily pregnant.“
“Hii 2018 mnaongelea nilikuwa nishampiga mimba, nishamvunja mguu, alikuwa kwa nyumba,” Bespoke said. “If you look at that woman she is quite tiny, you guys know I’m Luo, you know my type, I love big ‘Nyash’ as my wife’s.”
Bespoke further pointed out confidently that there relationship is very serious and that nothing can distract them. ”Nothing is coming between me and my wife.”
