The 2024 Emmy Awards highlights: ‘Succession’ wins Emmy for best drama while ‘The Bear’ dominates comedy

The 2024 Emmy Awards were received yesterday 15, Monday, in Los Angeles, and were hosted by ‘Blackish’ star Anthony Anderson for the first time.

The Emmy Awards is where actors are rewarded with an Emmy statuette, symbolizing their recognition for their outstanding contributions to the television industry.

The ‘Succession’ show won the coveted award for Outstanding Drama Series for the third time after leading with 27 nominations.

Some of it’s casts, Mathew Macfayden, Sarah Snook, and Kieran Culkin also received Emmys for their outstanding performances on the show.

The Daily Show with South African Actor Trevor Noah won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Talk Series.

Trevor Noah is expected to host the 2024 Grammy Awards on February 4th.

Among many other actors, Niecy Nash won the award of best supporting actress.

“I accept this Emmys Award on behalf of every black and brown woman who have gone unherad, yet over-poilice.” Niecy Nash said in her speech.
