“I am prepared to serve in any capacity to ensure the realisation of your vision,” former Kesses MP Swarup Mishra has told President William Ruto.

In a statement, Mishra has heaped praise on President Ruto and his government, insisting that under his leadership, Kenya will experience an era of unprecedented growth and transformation.

He opines that ever since taking over as President, Ruto has laid down policies that place Kenya on the global stage as the premier investment destination.

“Since taking office, President Ruto has shown remarkable leadership, exemplified by his unyielding commitment to repositioning Kenya as Africa’s economic bellwether,” Mishra’s says.

More so, Mishra says that President Ruto has emerged as a key global advocate for the climate change agenda, at a time when the world is grappling with the crisis.

‘The best president’

According to Mishra, President Ruto will go down as one of the best president that Kenya had since its independence.

“I pledge my wholehearted commitment to President Ruto, his vision for Kenya, and I am prepared to serve in any capacity to ensure the realization of this vision.”

Mishra fell out with President Ruto when he decided to stick with former President Uhuru Kenyatta under Jubilee Party. He lost his seat in the 2022 General Election to UDA Party’s Julius Ruto.

I apologise for my missteps’

However, Mishra ditched Jubilee Party for President Ruto’s UDA in May 2023.

“To my kinsmen, the Kalenjin Nation, Kenyans and to H.E. President Ruto, I once again offer my sincere apologies for any past wrongdoings and missteps. I am aware of the trust bestowed upon me, and I promise to uphold the honor, dignity, and aspirations of the Kalenjin people and all Kenyans,” his statement concludes.
