The nine Stadiums spread across six Moroccan cities set to host AFCON 2025

The 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will feature 24 teams competing in 54 matches across the nine stadiums. The combination of modern venues and Morocco’s rich football heritage is expected to provide fans with an unforgettable experience.

The Grande Stade de Tanger stands out as the largest stadium, while Rabat leads with the highest number of hosting venues (four).

The Confederation of African Football (CAF), in collaboration with the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), has officially announced the cities and stadiums that will host the CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025.

The tournament, scheduled to run from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026

As the continent’s most prestigious football competition draws nearer, Morocco continues to demonstrate its readiness to deliver a world-class tournament, blending modern infrastructure with the vibrant passion of African football.

Host Cities and Venues

1. Rabat (Administrative City)

  • Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah: 65,500 capacity
  • Stade Al Barid: 18,000 capacity
  • Stade Olympique Annexe Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah: 21,000 capacity
  • Complexe Sportif Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan: 22,000 capacity

2. Casablanca

  • Mohammed V Stadium: 45,000 capacity
    Notably, this legendary venue is the only stadium from the 1988 AFCON that will host matches this year.

3. Agadir

  • Grand Stade d’Agadir: 41,144 capacity

4. Marrakech

  • Grand Stade de Marrakech: 41,245 capacity

5. Fes

  • Complexe Sportif de Fès: 35,468 capacity

6. Tangier

  • Grande Stade de Tanger: 75,600 capacity
    This venue, with the largest seating capacity of all the host stadiums, will serve as a key site for the tournament.
