Popular Kenyan digital creator Thee Pluto has revealed why he moved out of the lavish seven-bedroom mansion he once rented in Utawala.
In an emotional social media post, he shared that he needed a fresh start in a more manageable space, especially since he now lives alone.
“I’m alone. It was a very hard decision to make. I needed a manageable space—just everything new, a fresh start,” he wrote.
Despite advice from his friend and mentor, Marwa, he took on multiple projects at once—a luxury mansion and a multi-storey rental building.
The overwhelming financial strain left him struggling.
“My brother @iam_marwa warned me, but I didn’t listen.
I took on two major projects at the same time instead of focusing on one until completion.
A mansion and an entire building with several floors. By October, I was broke,” he confessed.
He admitted that being broke, single, and lonely all at once was an unbearable experience.
“I had to sacrifice a lot. Trust me, the combination of being broke, single, and lonely is something you never want to go through.
It beats you down until you surrender. It has taken me months to recollect myself, but 2025 will be great,” he assured his fans.
Reflecting on his journey, he acknowledged the importance of budgeting, saving, and living within his means.
The experience, though painful, has taught him invaluable financial lessons.
Thee Pluto rose to fame through his YouTube loyalty tests, where he humorously exposes couples’ faithfulness in his viral segment, “Sanitize.”
Once a Kikuyu gospel singer, recently ended his relationship with his baby mama, Felicity Shiru.
Despite the setbacks, he remains hopeful about the future, determined to rebuild and make better financial choices.
