The Nairobi business community is crying foul as rogue individuals have taken advantage of the anti-government protests to break into and rob their shops.
The business owners, who have incurred losses after their stalls were broken into this morning, are blaming the media for not reporting about criminal activities amidst the protests.
Armed with clubs, they say that they are left with no choice but to protect their property, as the police are overwhelmed by the huge number of protesters.
In an undated video that is doing rounds on social media, a group of men is captured violently robbing helpless Kenyans in one of the streets in Nairobi, in full public glare.
