Thugs decended on a piece of land in Bukondo Village Uganda and dug up four buried bodies over land row.

The incident took place on Friday on Jude Ssebaggala’s piece of land.

According to family members, their brother June bought the piece of land from Dazy Nassiwa, who was an administrator on behalf of her deceased aunt, Anna Nazibanja.

The land was used as a burial ground for family. According to Lawrence Kigozi, the family had a land title they had been issued byy Dazy.

However, they were yet to get money to transfer the title from the initial owner to their name.

“We have been looking for money to work on the transfer. We have learnt that Ms Nassiwa conniver with other people and sold the land again,” claimed Lawrence.

According to Lawrence, he learnt that the piece of land is now under Maxwell Katumba.

Katumba allegedly bought land from Francis Karuzandaalo who persuaded Nassiwa to make a special title in her name.

Lawrence Kigozi asked the government to intervene as the remains of his kin was unknown.

Katumba however insisted that played no hand in the exhumation.

“I bought the land at Shs 115M and I have so far paid Shs 81M. I am not the one who exhumed the bodies.”

“It is the person whom I got the land from. He was supposed to fight all his battles and thereafter give me clean land.”

The two suspects of illegal exhumation are currently detained at Namayumba Police Station over.
