Trade Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano’s son, Peter Miano on Saturday, April 6, 2024 had a lavish traditional wedding that was attended by cabinet secretaries and other political leaders.

During a ceremony that was held in Nairobi, Peter Miano and Wambui Kibe confirmed their commitment to spend the rest of their lives together.

Speaking during the wedding, the Trade CS thanked her friends, colleagues and family members for turning up on her son’s wedding day. 

“Celebrated love with family and friends of Peter Miano and Wambui Kibe, a beautiful couple who complement each other in admirable ways. I wish the couple a lifetime of joy and God’s blessings,” stated Labour CS Florence Bore.

Meanwhile, Environment CS Soipan Tuya congratulated the new couple and wished them a long life and happiness in their marriage.

Other leaders present during the wedding include Public Service CS  Moses Kuria, Gender CS Aisha Jumwa, Water CS Zachary Njeru, and Health CS Susan Nakhumicha.

Also in attendance were secretary to the Cabinet Mercy Wanjau,  Investment Promotion Principal Secretary Abubakar Hassan and Industrialisation PS Juma Mukwana.

Most of the attendants of the wedding were dressed in traditional attire ranging from the Kikuyu traditional outfits to ‘vitenges’ of different colors.
