Based on polls President Donald Trump is disappointing the American people.
This is evident as his approval rating has dropped to 43% the lowest since returning to office.
This is according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll.

Once celebrated for his bold and unfiltered approach, Trump now finds himself losing ground.
Many Americans are uneasy about his recent tariff decisions and the troubling way his administration handled sensitive military information related to a strike in Yemen.
These issues seem to have struck a nerve with voters across party lines.
Trump hits an all-time low
The poll, conducted over three days and ending Wednesday, shows a 2-point dip from late March, and a 4-point fall from the 47% rating Trump held shortly after his January inauguration.
While still higher than some points during his first term, the latest numbers signal growing public concern.

The biggest blow may have come from the mishandling of classified military discussions.
The administration’s use of the unsecured Signal app to plan the Yemen strike shocked the nation.
A staggering 74% of respondents called the move reckless.
Including 91% of Democrats and 55% of Republicans.
Many believe Trump should take responsibility, with 70% agreeing that leaders must own up when mistakes are made.
Trump’s economic policies
The president’s economic marks also fell.
Only 37% support his approach to the economy, and just 30% believe he is helping with the high cost of living.
Nearly half of Americans think his tariff hikes on cars and auto parts will hurt their families.
Even longtime Republican supporters are starting to question whether these moves do more harm than good.
As Trump continues to push major policy shifts, cutting federal jobs, shaking up diplomacy, and raising tariffs many feel the weight of instability.
The market has responded with uncertainty, investors pulling back as fears of recession grow.
Severing diplomatic ties
Foreign policy approval dropped to 34%, while immigration saw a small boost with 48% support.
Yet even that feels fragile in the face of broader unease.
This poll, which surveyed nearly 1,500 adults across the country, paints a picture of a nation looking for steadier hands, clearer answers, and more care in leadership.
Americans aren’t just watching they’re feeling the effects.
And they’re speaking with growing clarity: they want better.
