Trump to Christians: “Vote Just This Time, Then No More”

Former President Donald Trump made a surprising statement at a conservative Christian event on Friday night, telling attendees they “won’t have to vote anymore”

That is if he wins the upcoming election in November.

Addressing the audience at The Believers’ Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump urged Christians to save America by voting “just this time” to ensure a landslide victory “that’s too big to rig.”

“Christians, get out and vote. Just this time,” Trump emphasized.

“You won’t have to do it anymore. Four more years. You know what? It’ll be fixed. It’ll be fine. You won’t have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians.”

Trump continued his appeal, saying, “I love you Christians, and I’m a Christian. I love you, you got to get out and vote.

In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not going to have to vote.”

These comments sparked concern on social media, with some interpreting them as a nod to authoritarianism.

Allison Gill, co-host of the podcast “Jack,” posted, “Democracy is in danger. This is not a drill,” alongside an image displaying Trump’s message to Christians.

During his speech, Trump reiterated his claim that the Democrats rigged the 2020 presidential election, which he falsely insists he won over President Joe Biden.

The audience responded with a standing ovation, chanting, “Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight,” mirroring Trump’s fist-pumping gesture.

He also mentioned his recovery from a recent assassination attempt, revealing that he had removed the last bandage from his ear just before speaking at the event.

Trump’s appearance at the summit came just hours after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at Mar-a-Lago.

Approximately 3,500 people attended his speech, where he spent much of his time criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris, who is now the presumptive Democratic nominee for president.

Other notable speakers at the two-day event, which focused on “unity and biblical truth,” included former Trump adviser Peter Navarro.

Dr. Ben Carson, and conservative political activist Charlie Kirk. Navarro, who recently completed a prison sentence, echoed Trump’s rhetoric, warning the audience about government control.

Trump has a history of appealing to evangelical Christians, urging them in June to actively participate in the 2024 election.

With his latest remarks, Trump continues to galvanize his base, aiming to secure their crucial support in his bid for a second term.
