The competition for the FKF Premier League golden boot has heated up following matchweek 14 held matches over the weekend across different venues countrywide.
Ryan Ogam of Tusker FC leads is now top of the FKF Premier league golden boot race with a total of 12 goals.
Ryan Ogam scored a goal either half as Tusker FC bounced back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory against Bidco United to extend his tally to 12, in a match played at the Dandora stadium on Sunday 15 December, 2024.
KCB’s Francis Kahiro is second with seven goals same to Shabana’s Brian Michira who has also has found the back of the net sevens times.
Beja Nyamawi of Bandari FC and Kakamega Homeboyz’s attacker Moses Shummah have scored six goals each after 14 rounds of matches.
Shabana’s Mathew Thegisi and FC Talanta’s Emmanuel Osoro have both managed five goals so far.
The golden glove race has also intensified where Bryne Omondi of Bandari FC is now joint at the top of the FKF Premier League clean sheet rankings with KCB’s Farouk Shikalo. Both players have seven clean sheets so far.
Felix Adoyo of Mara sugar FC, Mathare United’s Michael Wanyika, James Ssetuba of Homeboyz, Morgan Ambuka of Murang’a seal and Patrick Matasi of Kenya Police have five clean sheets each after 14 rounds of matches.
Meanwhile, the FKF Premier league rescheduled matches are set for this Wednesday 18 December 2024 at the Machakos stadium where FC Talanta will play against Kenya Police FC from 1.00 pm. Gor Mahia FC are set to face off with Ulinzi Stars fom 4.00 pm.
