Moige William, a celebrated journalist with TV47, has been awarded the prestigious PROSAK Award for his exemplary work in crime reporting.

The award was presented on Thursday, October 31 during the Nairobi Expo, held at All Saints Cathedral.

Organized by the Protective & Safety Association of Kenya (PROSAK), the award recognized excellence in investigative journalism and honored media professionals who have brought crucial societal issues to the forefront.

Moige’s dedication to thorough and impactful crime reporting has garnered attention across the nation, highlighting his commitment to uncovering challenging stories and advocating for transparency.

His investigative pieces have not only informed the public but also prompted discussions on justice and accountability.

“We want professional reporting, fact-checking, Kenyans want the truth, nothing but the truth. That is what we checked while making a decision on who to award,” PROSAK chair Enoch Makanga said during the expo.

The Nairobi Expo, an annual conference aimed at networking professionals from diverse fields, provided a fitting backdrop for the award ceremony, as media and legal professionals gathered to celebrate integrity and advocacy in journalism.
