Bungoma County Police Commander Francis Kooli, led police officers from the county to raid a branch of New Life International Church associated with controversial pastor Ezekiel Odero on Thursday, May 11.
The church is based in the Sikata area on the outskirts of Bungoma town. It is believed a number of faithful who were praying were dispersed during the operation.
This comes at a time when the government has intensified operations against unregistered churches as well as controversial preachers in the country.
