United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Chairperson Johnson Muthama now says that the Kenya Kwanza Alliance is planning to merge all its affiliate parties ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Speaking with TV47 on Monday, October 10, Muthama said that UDA will not force any political party to dissolve and join UDA, but they want to form a bigger and stronger party ahead of 2027.
“We want to go to the 2027 election as a political party known as UDA. Our election will be about the party now and that is why we are conducting elections at the grassroots,” Muthama said.
The former Machakos County Senator further said that they are welcoming anyone who decides to fold their party and join UDA.
“Anyone who feels like he/she wants to fold his/her party and join UDA, the doors are open for that person to do that.
