Eliud Wekesa alias ‘Yesu wa Tongaren’ was on Tuesday, May 16 released from custody on a personal (free) bond.

Wekesa appeared before the Bungoma Law Courts, represented by lawyer Prof. George Wajackoyah.

Prosecution told the court that they had concluded their investigations against the leader of New Jerusalem Church and found no wrongdoing on his part.

Consequently, the prosecution officer told the court that they are closing Wekesa’s file, marking the end of the case.
