Philanthropist Dr. Manu Chandaria on Wednesday, September 13 rewarded 20 National Police Service (NPS) officers with the prestigious ‘Chandaria Bravery Award’.
The 20 police officers who received the ‘Chandaria Bravery Award’ were drawn from Kenya Police Service, Administration Police Service and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
In his remarks during the annual ceremony, Dr. Chandaria congratulated the officers and expressed his gratitude to “all NPS Officers for their selfless service to the Country”.
NPS Inspector General Japheth Koome equally urged NPS officers to continue serving the country with patriotism and dedication.
35th-year running
Wednesday’s ceremony marked the 35th year of Dr. Chandaria’s continued support to, and recognition of NPS officers for their good work to the country.
The Chandaria Foundation entourage included Mr. Bijal Chandaria, Mr. Kaushik Shah and Mr. Vincent Rapando.
Among NPS Directors present were Ms. Rosemary Kuraru, SAIG, (Human Capital Development); Mr. David Njagi, AIG (Planning and Finance); Mr. John Kamau, AIG (Reforms), and Mr. Saidi Kipkoech, AIG (DCI Operations).
