Two people have been confirmed dead while three others were seriously injured in an accident involving multiple vehicles along Southern Bypass, Nairobi.
The 6:30 am Tuesday, July 23 accident saw the driver of a lorry driving from Kikuyu direction lose control of the vehicle near Ole Sereni area.
Police say that the said lorry veered off its lane and collided head on with an oncoming truck.
According to eyewitnesses, the impact of the collision affected three other vehicles that were behind the truck, with fire breaking out.
The drivers of the two vehicles died on the spot, with one burnt beyond recognition, according to National Police Service Spokesperson Resila Onyango.
