Two people have been killed and two vehicles burnt to ashes in Milhoi, Lamu County, in suspected Al-Shabaab attack.
Confirming the incident, acting County Commissioner Charles Kitheka says unknown number of Al-Shabaab militants raided Milhoi village on Tuesday, April 9 afternoon.
The two who have been killed are said to be the driver and his turnboy.
Officials say the militants had ambushed farmers in the village when an alarm was raised, forcing them to retreat, burning vehicles while at it.
Eye witnesses say that close to 10 militants accosted the lorry that was transporting liquor from Mombasa to Lamu.
