Two men who were caught on camera while hanging dangerously on a moving Mercedes Benz car have been arrested.

The incident is said to have occured on Saturday, April 20 at around 9 am.

The duo will be arraigned in court tomorrow (April 23, 2024), even as the driver of the car — one Loise Apata — is still at large.

The vehicle has been been detained at Nairobi Area Traffic Headquarters pending arrest of the female driver.

Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen had highlighted the incident on Monday, April 22 morning, promising that the police would take action against the perpetrators.

“Mr. James Gathogo Njeri this is how your car white Mercedes Benz KCX 959B class E-250 was being driven on Mombasa road in one of those “where is the Minister” moments. We are concerned and a responsible citizen has alerted us. We shall do what we must,” the CS had vowed.
