Two people have been confirmed dead and more than 10 people seriously injured after the bus they were traveling with from Western Kenya to Nairobi rammed into a fuel truck in Muguga area in Kikuyu along James Gichuru-Rironi highway.
Confirming the incident, Kikuyu Sub County Police Commander Ronald Kirui called upon all road users to be vigilant as the country is expected to receive long rains as announced by the weatherman.
The remains of the two people were taken to P.C.E.A Thogoto Hospital mortuary while the wreckage of the two vehicles towed to Kikuyu Police Station for inspection.
Survivors with serious injuries were also rushed to the same hospital for treatment.
