Former President Uhuru Kenyatta was among leaders who attended the wedding of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s daughter on Saturday December 7, 2024 in Naivasha, Nakuru County.  

Damarie Saada Kalonzo wedded Martin Nyaga in a ceremony graced by their family members and close political allies of Kalonzo.

In a statement after the wedding, Kalonzo expressed gratitude towards Uhuru for standing with the family.

“I thank Former President Uhuru Kenyatta for his friendship and solidarity with my family by attending the wedding ceremony of our daughter Damarie Saada and Martin Nyaga this afternoon in Naivasha,” Kalonzo said.

“On behalf of my family I give my full blessings to this wonderful couple Damarie Saada and Martin Nyaga. 

“Remember God and let Him be in the centre of your marriage. Keep close the words of Proverbs 24:3-4, “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures” he added.

Other leaders present included DAP-K Party leader Eugene Wamalwa, Machakos governor Wavinya Ndeti and former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu.

“I had the honour of witnessing the union in holy matrimony of Damarie Saada Kalonzo and Martin Nyaga. I wish the new couple marital bliss,” said governor Wavinya Ndeti.
