Meshack Makokha’s 38th-minute goal secured the victory for Bungoma Stars against FKF Premier League FC Talanta.
Meanwhile, at the Kenyenya grounds, a heated match ensued, with goals pouring in from the 70th minute, ultimately resulting in SS Assad emerging victorious.
SS Assad’s Hamisi Nyere opened the scoring in the 70th minute. Four minutes later, Dominic Orweya’s strike leveled the game for Bomachoge Borabu.
In the 79th minute, Hamidi Abdalla extended SS Assad’s lead, and six minutes later, an own goal by Bomachoge Borabu’s Augustine Nyabuto sealed the 3-1 victory for SS Assad.
