A high school in Seatle United States of America has reportedly marked a student wrong in a history exam for stating that only women can get pregnant.

According to his mother, the Chief Sealth International High School student was undertaking a test which required true or false answers titled Understanding Gender vs. Sex” in his Ethnic Studies World History class.

In the test, he answered “true” on two questions one asked “All men have penises” and the second that “Only women can get pregnant.”

According to the reports he did not get any of the two questions right and this led to him failing the test.

“I keep trying to wrap my head around how it is legal to teach inaccurate information and force students to answer against their beliefs or receive negative scores,” stated the high school student’s mother.

She also revealed that another test was carried out in the school testing the students on the usage of pronouns and gender as a construct.

The school district did not deny the issue stating that the test was meant to promote inclusion and was in line with lessons taught in the Ethnic Studies.

The school also noted that the fail will not affect the overall performance of the student.
