A church elder in Uthiru has resulted to looking for a wife for her son who has refused to settle and giver her grandchildren.

According to shared information from a member of the church youth group, the church elder has been enticing girls in the congregation to find interest in her son.

The Elder is a respected member in the church who her fellow church elders sympathize with over the son’s predicament.

Being a foreign concept for parents looking for brides for their sons, the tables seem to have changed, adding desperation to the respected church elder.

Girls invited to the Church Elder’s house

According to first hand information acquired from a congregant of the church, the elder is always welcoming young girls to have lunch at her home.

The elder has built a rapport with the younger unmarried girls who attest that the lady is simply looking to have her son settled.

Coincidentally, the son always makes time to visit the mother every Sunday after she is done administering to souls on the pulpit.

Additionally, some girls testify that, though the young man is handsome and well mannered, he showed no desire in any of the girls he has met.

Ironically, one girl shared that the son of the church elder has expressed that his life is complete and he is okay being a ‘Mama’s boy.’

Church Elder son will not settle?

According to the girls we spoke to, the son of the church elder enjoys a well paying job and is seen online taking photos with different sassy ladies.

One lady shared that she was intimidated by the son seeing that he was fully financially settled and seemed not to want to settle down and have children.

Additionally, the son, whose identity we will withhold, shared during one of the mothers sermons that he was not ready to settle.

Furthermore, he shared that the Lord will guide him to the wife he has kept for him even though the mother wanted him to pick a lady and settle.

Is there any hope ?

Despite the church elder opening up church sponsored forums to help the son and many other young men find their ‘ribs’, the son is yet to make up his mind.

According to a sit down we had with one of the girls seeking to marry the son, they have not yet lost hope that one day he might make up his mind.

Additionally, the church elder is still welcoming the girls at her home as a sign that she has not lost hope of having grandchildren from her only child.

We tried to get a hold of the young man in question to find out how he felt about what his mother had been requesting from him.

In an unfortunate turn of events, the son declined to comment and share his official standing on the mothers efforts at the church to get him settled.
