Vanessa Hudgens has confirmed that she is now a mom, announcing the arrival of her first child with husband Cole Tucker, a Los Angeles Angels player.

On the Fourth of July, Hudgens shared the joyful news on Instagram.

Expressing disappointment that their family’s privacy had been disrespected by the media. “Despite all of that, mom, dad, and baby are happy and healthy,” she stated.

The 35-year-old High School Musical alum also celebrated her husband’s 28th birthday on Wednesday with the best gift possible—a new baby!

TMZ first reported the birth, although details about the baby’s birthday and gender remain unknown.

They shared a photo of Hudgens cradling the baby while leaving the hospital in a wheelchair, as is customary for new moms.

Hudgens first revealed her pregnancy in March, showcasing her baby bump at the 2024 Academy Awards in a custom black gown by Vera Wang.

She continued to flaunt her growing belly in a sheer dress by Jason Bolden at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party.

“Vanessa is glowing and embracing this new chapter.

She couldn’t be happier during this time,” a source told ET before the birth.

“She can’t wait to be a mom and wants to set a positive example for her little one. Cole has been catering to her every need.

He’s a family man and wants to be the best dad he can be. This is a dream come true for both of them.”

The pregnancy news came months after Hudgens and Tucker married at Azulik City of Arts in Tulum, Mexico, on December 2, 2023.

They wed in front of 100 close friends and family members, with Jay Shetty officiating the ceremony.

This event held special significance as Shetty hosted the Zoom meditation session where Hudgens and Tucker met in 2020.

The couple first went public in 2020, shortly after Hudgens split from longtime boyfriend Austin Butler.

Before Butler, she was in a relationship with her High School Musical co-star Zac Efron.

Reflecting on her life, Hudgens said she manifested everything including her love story with Tucker.

“My relationship, my home, my career,” she shared. “As long as you’re specific, it might not always come when you expect it or want it, but it’s always gonna come back somehow.”

Now, as a family of three, Hudgens and Tucker are thrilled.
