Veteran Kenyan actor Matayo Keya, popularly know by his stage name Alphonce Makacha Makokha, is mourning the death of his wife, Purity Wambui.
News of Wambui’s demise was shared by Makokha’s cliose friend, fellow actor Ondiek Nyka Kwota.
“She was a remarkable woman who touched many lives with her kindness and warmth,” Nyuka Kwota wrote on Facebook page.
“Matayo Keya aka Makokha Makacha and his family are deeply grateful for your love and support during this incredibly difficult Season,” he added. “Your thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
Makokha and Nyuka Kwota are popular for their roles on the popular KBC show ‘Vioja Mahakamani’.
