The National Assembly will this morning kick off the exercise of vetting of President William Ruto’s Cabinet nominees.
The Committee on Appointment, which is chaired by Speaker Moses Wetangula, will be conducting the approval hearings from County Hall, Mini- Chamber starting at 8:00 am.
Wetangula will preside over the four-day marathon exercise.
The first on the hot seat will be Interior Cabinet Secretary Nominee, Prof. Kithure Kindiki.
Prof. Kindiki will be facing the vetting panel for the second time in two years for the same docket.
He holds a Ph. D (International Law) from the University of University of Pretoria, South Africa.
