Nigerian sensation Victor AD, renowned for his hit “Wetin We Gain,” boldly stood against the BBC’s exposé on TB Joshua, the revered figure behind Synagogue Church of All Nations.

Victor AD took to Twitter, passionately defending TB Joshua, recounting personal experiences: his own healing from a skin disease at six, his mother’s miraculously saved hand, and his sister’s regained sight—all credited to TB Joshua’s interventions.

Refuting the allegations, Victor AD staunchly defended TB Joshua’s authenticity, highlighting the tangible blessings his family received during their direst times.

He emphasized that despite any claims made, his faith and gratitude for the interventions remain unshaken.

Yet, controversy surged when a video circulated of Victor AD attempting to heal his mother through a video call, using what he called “anointing water” from the church.

This added fuel to the ongoing debate surrounding TB Joshua’s practices.

Meanwhile, the BBC’s in-depth exposé, “Disciples: The Cult of TB Joshua,” sparked a wildfire on social media.

The three-part documentary presented damning testimonies from former disciples and workers alleging manipulation, abuse, and extensive control exerted by TB Joshua over them for years.

In response, Dare Adejumo, a public affairs analyst and SCOAN member, dismissed the BBC’s claims, labeling the documentary as baseless.

In a statement he personally signed, Adejumo rubbished the BBC report, saying the media house “descended into fictional narratives and propaganda”.

BBC has compromised these lofty principles by descending into fictional narratives and propaganda, thus turning itself into a weapon for a hatchet job as gangsters in the gab of journalism with a destructive ulterior motive for personal gains against a perceived enemy.

Adding, “Only BBC can best explain why it woefully deviated from true journalism and chose to be dishing junks and feeding the public with stones called bread by its offensive and disenchanted reports of disgruntled elements.

This, to say the least, is insulting to our professional and public intelligence. One thing is very obvious, hundreds of BBC charades cannot rubbish the indelible footprints of TB Joshua’s legacies on earth again,” Adejumo said.

According to him, thousands of human beings have received dumbfounding miracles and tremendously benefited from the anointing and grace the Lord endued with His servant.

”BBC has obviously shot itself in the foot by its compromise and roadside journalism. Some of those identified there are relics of homosexual and lesbian associates. My findings further show that everything the BBC put together is strange to SCOAN.

He discredited the individuals interviewed, asserting their unfamiliarity to the church’s community.
