National NewsNews

A video has now emerged showing how Fafi Member of Parliament  Salah Yakub was on Monday harassed and embarrassed by members of the National Police Service as he went to seek passport services at Nyayo House.

The Fafi legislator indicated that he sustained injuries on his leg after the assault.

He posted on his X handle calling on Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki and the Independent Policing Oversight Authority IPOA to take action on Police officers at Nyayo house who manhandled him.

He accused a police officer of collecting bribes at the Nyayo House saying the cop treats MPs from North Eastern badly.

“The officer verily mishandled most NEP MPs,” he said.

He further alleged that he is not the only MP who has experienced the assault at Nyayo House.

“Am the 6th MP to be humiliated by that contingent. Waziri take action!”
