Kenyan musician Kevin Bahati has showered praises on his wife Diana Marua as they mark their seven-year marriage anniversary.
In a long Instagram on Wednesday, October 4, Bahati revealed that he contacted Diana to play as a video vixen for one of his music videos.
“I had written my first love song as a gospel artist and the girl I wanted to appear on the video declined my offer. She was the Former NTV teens republic host Tracy Wanjiru. I think she was the only beautiful girl I knew then manze sikua na Connections.
“Later I remembered a queen who had liked a picture of mine on Instagram. I had never met her, I reached out to Diana Marua just like any other video vixen little did I know that I was looking at my wife-to-be,” he said.

The father of five expressed gratitude to Tracy Wanjiru for rejecting his offer, as he would have never met Diana.
” I had shot Many Music videos before but God used this specific Shoot to Connect me to my Soul Mate.
“Thanks to the amazing Tracy because God used you to say No and that’s how I met my prayer partner,” Bahati added.
They will be celebrating their seven-year marriage anniversary on October 20.
In June this year, Bahati proposed marriage to Diana and declared their wedding would be held in December 2023.
“This year, I want to marry you in a real wedding, I want us to renew our vows,” he told her.

At the time, the singer appreciated his wife for holding fort at home when he dived into the political scene in 2022 and went for the Mathare MP seat under a Jubilee ticket.
“When I announced that I was vying, that is when she told me she was expecting. She stood in the gap as a father, she took care of everything. That is why I thought I should celebrate her before she thought of celebrating me.”
In response, Diana said she was excited for the big day.
“I can’t believe we’re clocking 7 years in a few days. I can’t wait for Diana Weds Bahati on that big day.
“God is faithful. May He keep us forever and ever and may His favour always choose us. I Love You Babe,” she added.
