Wabebe 47: Willis Raburu Joins Cape Media’s TV47

Veteran Journalist and show host Willis Raburu has joined Cape Media’s TV47.

This is after he left Royal Media services group where he hosted a number of shows across the platform.

He has been part of Royal Media for thirteen years where his career took off.

In a video post on his verified social media, Willis announced his partnership with TV47 to bring WabebeXP, an entertainment show, exclusive to TV47 every Friday at 10 PM.

Subsequent material has been put out by TV47 featuring Willis fully settling into his new role at TV47 studios.

The development comes after weeks of speculation on where the popular TV personality was headed after leaving Citizen Tv where he worked for over a decade.

The hype master was popularly known for hosting the Friday night show 10 over 10 which garnered recognition from the youth and content creators in the media industry.

Since his departure from 10 over 10, Royal Media Services has been sampling TV and radio hosts alike to find a suitable replacement that can match Raburu’s energy and drive for the show.

Notable faces that have graced the show include former radio hosts Kamene Goro, Oga Obinna, and recently NRG radio host Aziza Hashim.

Rumors speculated that Raburu’s on and off again cohost, Shatta Boy from Radio Citizen was set to replace him upon his departure but that is yet to materialise.

Others speculate that Shatta Boy could still be a hidden contender for the spot but needed time to grieve over the loss of his wife.
